The Incredible Hulk #8 Review

CONSENSUS: The Incredible Hulk is improving but still hasn't quite got into it's stride. This issue is a solid opening chapter of the second story arc, but it's hindered by art that simply doesn't suit the book, and several errors in the story-telling. Not to mention that the team-up with The Punisher just wasn't as good as some fans were hoping. This is still a book for die-hard Hulk fans only, everyone else would be better off without it.

Weekly Comic Book Reviews: "There are huge problems here that I can't totally ignore, but I can't deny that I had a LOT of fun reading this." 75

Comicosity: "Overall, this issue of The Incredible Hulk is quite a bit better than the books from the past arc. Aaron's writing has been strong for the entire series and continues to be, with the art finally taking steps to catch up with him." 75

Punisher Central: 75

Population Go: "I look forward to seeing where this arc takes us, because something tells me it's going to end with quite a bang." 70

IGN: "Fundamentally, this series is on firmer ground as it barrels into its second story arc. Unfortunately, there are some notable flaws remaining that still prevent The Incredible Hulk from reaching its full potential." 65

Comic Vine: "It was an ok issue, and if you're a Hulk fan, pick this up. If you're not, you may want to pass." 60
